The latest addition to the Colourtech bouquet of offerings, Polyurethane (PU) Pigments are high quality dispersions of organic and inorganic pigments for use in the manufacture of PU products such as flexible slab-stock foam, semi flexible foams of various densities, Integral Skin, Rigid Foams and shoe soles.
Colourtech Polyurethane (PU) Pigments are specialized formulations and are available in both Polyether as well as Polyester Polyols of various molecular weights and colours - Yellow, Blue, Green, Orange, Red, White, Violet and Black. Colourtech PU Pigment pastes are dispersions of high quality pigments in polyether polyols of 3000 molecular weights - 56 OH. This ensure 100% compatibility & allows for seamless integration with the slab stock, leading to Homogeneous colouring.

Technical Specifications:  Polyether based Polyols for Flexible Foams. Colourtech PU Pigment pastes are dispersions of high quality pigments in polyether polyols of 3000 molecular weights - 56 OH. This ensure 100% compatibility & allows for seamless integration with the slab stock, leading to Homogeneous colouring.

PU Pigments serve three main functions : the optical function of providing colour, opacity and uniform finish.

Our pigments are manufactured to a tolerance of CIELAB D.E.1 against a master standard. This ensures batch to batch consistency for the end user, to obtain uniform colour of foam at specific densities. Customers have a wide choice of shades. Customised shade matching is also possible. Typically pigments are used in the range of 0.5- 6% loading based on the final colour requirement and density of foam manufactured.
