Amongst all non-metallic MOC. Fiber Glass Mouldings in Vinyl ester resins possesses the highest mechanical , Corrosion, abrasion and temperature resistance. It goes without saying that this is the superior MOC. Vinyl ester resins are produced by addition of Athletically Unsaturated Memo-carboxylic Acids to epoxy resins. Since unsaturated terminal, the carbon-to-carbon double bonds are extremely reactive which cure consistently and faster to provide better creep resistance & green strength. Having much lesser Ester linkage it provides higher resistance to Hydrolysis. This provides high Chemical Resistance. Low shrinkage, Better adhesion, High temperature resistance etc. properties.
You might be aware that amongst all Non-Metallic or Engineering plastics basically there are two types, one is Thermoplast type Resins and the other one is Thermosetting type Resins. The Thermoplast resins are being used in manufacturing MOC like PP, PVC, HDFC, UHMWPE etc., where as in FRP (GRP) mouldings are Thermosetting type resins. The thermoplast type resins over a period of time losses it’s properties like getting D shaped, loosing color, getting cracked etc. where as in Thermosetting resins (FRP or GRP) sets permanently and the above stated changes of thermosetting resins never occurs with this. Also the Chemical Resistance, Corrosion, Abrasion, Impact and Temperature resistance is always better amongst all engineering plastics and is immune to atmospheric degradation and oxidization. Further the components like casing, impeller, casing back cover can be reconditioned by remolding and machining which is not possible in other plastic pumps.
The unique wetted component casing is volute type with contoured discharge leads the pumps to energy efficiency. There are no thru studs/nuts connecting casing and casing back cover which is expose to corrosive atmosphere. The threaded impeller with embedded shaft sleeve of single composite structure of FRP eliminates the gasket sets there by prevention of liquid penetration towards shaft.
The drive assemblies are divided in to three groups in Horizontal Pumps leads to the maximum interchangeability of spares.
The unique Fibre Glass Moulding Process is in-house to meet the mechanical strength and other properties in comparison with metallic Pumps.
The special purpose pumps are developed to meet the customer requirement and generally offered the following Quality Assurance Plan. (QAP)
