Polymicro Technologies capillary tubing is available in a wide range of options, from thin-walled polyimide-coated flexible fused silica to thick-walled fused silica or quartz tubes without coating. Flexible synthetic fused silica capillary tubing is manufactured across a range of internal diameters, from less than 1 to over 2000µm. Standard capillary is fabricated from synthetic fused silica preforms using sophisticated draw towers and following closely controlled manufacturing processes. The outside diameter typically ranges from 90µm to >3500µm. In most applications, an external polymer coating is applied to protect the silica outer surface from abrasion.
