Polyester fiber is mostly blended with cotton, viscose and wool to make different kind of fabrics suitable for shirting and suitings. Since its a hydrophobic fiber and does not have any pores or site for holding the dyestuff molecules, this fiber can be dyed with only very fine dispersions of disperse dyes only and that too under high pressure and temperature.
