Big Bags is one of the world’s leading manufacturer of fabric. We weave and provide the highest quality technical fabrics available in the global market. All our FIBCs are woven on Circular looms or Sulzer machines. Our light circular fabric is rolled tightly, with minimal wastage as per the global standard. We can also supply ultrasonic selvedges as an economical replacement for Flat fabrics. All our Fabric are UV stabilized and produced as per customer requirement.

PE Tarpaulins/Coverings is the best alternative to the conventional and expensive Canvas/PVC/Nylon tarpaulins. With the great advantage of light weight, heavy tensile strength, excellent water-proof and exceptional low-cost, Plas-Tarp is widely used in areas like agriculture, construction, leisure and protection purpose.

Made out of high tenacity polyethylene tapes, woven into fabric and laminated on both side.
Reinforced with strong PE ropes on all sides.
Uses special aluminium/plastic eyelets at intervals of 3 feet.
Uses 6 feet width of panels.
Contains U.V stabilisers on tapes and lamination to ensure longer life.
Packed in polybag with label inserted.
Available in a range of colors.
Available in 80 GSM/100 GSM/125 GSM/150 GSM/200 GSM.
Also available sandwiched tarps with two layers of pre-woven fabric and three layers of LDPE Lamination for special application in 200 GSM and 400 GSM.
Also available - Flame retardant Plas-Tarps.
PLAS-TARPS are also made to customer's requirement and specification.

Big Bags traces its history back to 1993 when it saw a gap in the market for a quality producer of PE tarpaulins. The company rapidly understood the needs of the customers and quickly grew on to be a pioneer and leader with the ability to produce over 250 million square feet of PE Tarpaulins in India and overseas.

Since its inception, the products manufactured by Big Bags have enjoyed an excellent reputation which has enabled the company to expand rapidly within India and regularly export to over 20 countries across the globe.
The company started with a small production capacity of 500 bags per day in early 2000. Since then Big Bags has expanded its capabilities to currently produce around 30,000 FIBCs/day and 100,000 PP woven sacks. In addition, Big Bags has the capacity to produce 250,000 meters of fabric/day, 25,000 meters of liners/day, 40,000 meters of lamination/day, 200,000 meters of webbing/day and 100,000 meters dust-proof/day. Big Bags has the capability to further enhance the production capacity based on customer demand.
Furthermore, we commissioned a world-class facility in Mangalore in April 2012. This factory houses on a 25-acre campus with end-to-end facilities and has a capacity to produce 10,000 bags per day. We expect phase 2 of this facility to start operating by the mid of January 2013, with a capacity to produce over 40000 bags per day. This facility will also enjoy the advantage of quicker time to international markets owing to its presence and proximity to the Mangalore shipping port.
