Principle

Caution

• Do not use the poker vibrator to move the concrete sideways

Different Hose Lengths :

• The hose has been treated to increase its strength and make it more resistant to wear and tear

Important :

• Do not leave the needle running in the air as it will overheat and is only efficiently cooled when immersed.
• Do not stop the vibrator whilst needle is immersed as withdrawal will be difficult
• Do not lubricate the inside of the needle
• Clean the needle end tip after every 50 hours of use
• Strike the needle against the ground to start vibrations
• When handling needle, always carry it by grasping the rubber sleeve round the drive shaft thus preventing excessive bending of the shaft. Acute bends will cause friction and tend to overheat. Therefore, always keep the flexible shaft as straight as possible when running.
• To stop the engine, switch off the ignition and turn off the petro.
• Ensure that needle is immersed fully in the concrete.
• Needle and flexible shafts should be serviced and cleaned with petrol every 100 hours of use.

Starting

• Move the locking lever on the coupling forward
• Insert the poker vibrator coupling into the guiding sleeve of the drive unit.
• Rotate the motor coupling slightly until the clutch dogs engage with the guiding sleeve dogs.
• Release the locking lever. If the coupling dogs are in engagement the lever will return to its original position.

Never connect the poker vibrator to a drive unit that is running :
On starting it may sometimes be necessary to jolt the poker vibrator sideways to start it vibrating. Make sure that the operating hose does not describe any sharp bends or loops as this will increase wear and reduce its useful life.
