Plate & Frame Filter Press

Plate & Frame Filter Press that we offer is the most widely used filter that separates solids from liquids in the pharmaceuticals, dyestuff, ceramics, chemicals, minerals, food and waste water treatment industries. Our Plate & Frame Filter Press consists of two fixed head pieces and one moveable piece. Between these pieces are chambers formed by plates and frames or recessed plates and these plates are covered with filtered cloth. Further, the plates are hung on a pair of horizontal support bars and pressed together during filtration to form a water tight closure between the plates. The Plate & Frame Filter Press can be closed hydraulically manually or by a motor drive. The slurry to be processed gets pumped between the plates where the filtrate is collected along a channel system or through individual laps at each of the plates. The cake between the plates is then washed until it gets free of the mother liquor and the discharge of solids is released by opening the closing device. Our Plate & Frame Filter Press is available in cast iron, wood, steel or polypropylene construction.
