How It Operates?
ACTIVE High sensitive current operated Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker [ ELCB ] incorporates an active current transformer, to sense the sum of all current to be normally zero. Normally current flowing through phase passes through the neutral through load so resultant voltage in an active transformer is zero. In case of any leakage to earth, core balance transformer senses as unbalance & small signal voltage is generated in secondary winding which is fed to solid state electronic circuit of ELCB. This is amplified and immediately activates the tripping mechanism of the unit. Hence, resulting in switching off and isolating the defective installation. This highly sophisticated Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker system (ELCB), based on the latest & ultimate in electronics design; is specifically engineered to protect you from dangerous electric shock and your equipment from High Voltage, Low Voltage, Overload and Short circuit. There are LED indications provided on the front panel display which informs you that your ELCB has sensed Fault and display its Fault status with LED indication along with Emergency Light and Audible Emergency Signal - Siren. After fault recovery, control circuit having inbuilt time delay will be activated within 5 seconds instantly and ELCB will be ON automatically-Fully Automatic (self start).
