Planetary Helical Geared Motor

Magtorq Planetary Helical geared motor is a combination of multi stage planetary and single stage helical gear train, all housed in a common enclosure. Our gear boxes are designed to operate continuously 24 hours per day for many seasons with sufficient capacity to start on high load conditions.

 

The use of rolling bearings ensures that the gears are well centered, provide high efficiency and positional consistency resulting in extended service life.

ADVANTAGES

.Hollow shaft with ‘gib head taper key’ allows it to be slipped onto the machine shaft and fixed in place. Arrest the reaction force on the housing with the torque arrester and the machine is ready for operation. This makes the installation easy and economical.

.Gears and bearings are lubricated by the oil filled in the gearbox. Occasional oil change and topping up is the only maintenance required, hence overall maintenance is less.

.Loss through spillage is eliminated which keeps the surroundings clean.

.Overall efficiency of transmission increased almost three times compared to the conventional worm drive system, thus reducing the installed motor rating and power consumed.

.Handle is provided to rotate the rear end shaft of the motor manually. Improved efficiency of the transmission has reduced the manual effort to a minimum.
