Pigment Emulsions in Textile Printing : Pigment Dispersions / Emulsions is an exclusive range of pigment preparation offered by Shri Colours Industries. These emulsions are prepared keeping the highest level of quality in place. With the in-house manufacturing of Pigment Powder, this forward integrated product provides an exclusive quality, stability and a high degree of fastness property to the fabric.
Pigment Emulsions are based on oil-in-water emulsion principle and the printing paste consists of the following ingredients :

  • Pigment Dispersion / Emulsion : Pigment Dispersions / Emulsions use the selected pigments in emulsion form, distinguished by exceptional fineness of dispersion and high level of stability. They are miscible with one another in any proportion so that any desired shade may be obtained. They are compatible with all the binders.
  • Binders : Pigment Emulsions offer a good compatibility with most of the binder available in the industry. Binders are suitable for Roller and Screen-printing and due to its excellent re-emulsification property it is eminently suitable for Rotory / Screen-printing.
  • Thickener : With the help of the emulsifier from binder, synthetic thickener or kerosene is added in the printing paste to form stable emulsion with water. This printing paste, after drying and curing, leaves minimum solids on the cloth; resulting in a very bright print, higher colour yield and good fastness properties.
  • Prints are Curing : Prints are dried at 90 to 100 C for about 2 minutes and then cured at 130 -150 C for 5 minutes. It is not necessary to wash the prints after curing.

 

Pigment Emulsions for Exhaust Dyeing : MLR 1:10 TO 1:15 for ready to dye Fabric or Garment.


There are four important steps for Exhaust Dyeing :

  • Cationisation
  • Dyeing
  • Wash Down Effect
  • Fixation
  • Detailed recipe can be provided separately
