Contact SupplierPetunias can tolerate relatively harsh conditions and hot climates. They require minimum 5 hours of sunlight every day. They grow well in low humidity and moist soil.
Modern Petunias are the most popular, lovely and valuable race of garden plants. The flowers are trumpet-shaped and may be small or large, single or double. The flower colors available are pink, red, pale blue, violet, yellow, cream, purple, mauve, and some cultivars are bicolored. The petunia mix is a free flowering plant. These beauties have a long flowering season under favorable conditions.
Petunias are suitable for borders, mass plantings, edging, rock gardens (especially of dwarf types), window boxes, and hanging baskets(balcony type), and pots. The blooms are also used for vase decoration as cut flowers. When grown in mass under the shrubs they display a striking effect.
