Petitgrain oil is obtained from the orange tree. This oil is very beneficial in many ways and it has both personal and health uses like it is used in cleaning purposes and it is used internally to support healthy immune system and nervous system function. It is obtained by process of steam distillation of the leaves and twigs of the orange tree. Petitgrain is important ingredient in the perfume industry, as it has a beautiful, fresh, and woody aroma and it blends well with citrus and floral oils. It's a joy to work with for aromatic blending.

Extraction:

Petitgrain oil is extracted from the leaves and twigs of orange trees by the method of steam distillation.

Properties:

Its color is pale yellow to amber and it is watery in viscosity.

Blending:

It blends well with Lavender, Palma Rosa, Rosewood, Bergamot, Sandalwood, and Geranium. Oil.

Uses:

• It is the main ingredient in herbal medicines.

• It helps in getting over depression and other problems such as anxiety, stress, anger, and fear.
