For determination of closed Flash Point of Fuel Oils, Lubricating Oils having a flash point above 49°C (120°F). The apparatus consists of a brass test cup with handle removable cup cover with spring operated rotating shutter having pilot jet, stirrer with flexible shaft. The complete assembly rests in an air bath which is covered with dome shaped metal top. The cup is fitted with insulated handle and locking arrangement near cup flange. The whole arrangement rests on a round shaped heater body with temperature regulator. The Instrument is suitable to work on 220 V AC, 50Hz.
