History
Tinnu International was established on the 22nd of July 1986. We started off as an IT product and service provider, catering to the supply and maintenance of hardware for multinationals. We were initially affiliated with several companies such as Texas Instruments, Zenith, Xerox, to name a few. Towards the end of 2008, we foresaw a decline in tape based media and hence decided to expand to other vertical. We were linked with the who’s who of Indian television and cinema industry and thus decided to venture into the broadcast camera division of Sony. We took this opportunity to meet with the higher management and pitch our proposal of becoming distributors for Sony Broadcast Cameras and Equipment and making the products available off the shelf. We were appointed as distributors for India. Since then, we have been the number one distributor in India in terms of sales, market development and team, and one of the top distributors in the world in terms of inventory. We were then offered distribution for several other products.
