Contact SupplierCoco Disc in Coimbatore, High-Quality Coco Disc Supplier from Coimbatore India
Coco discs are pressed discs of carefully selected coco peat. They are suitable for gerbera cultivation, as well as for other floriculture crops and potted plants. Coco discs consist of coarse cocoa material, which is made of the husk of the coconut. Cutting the husk creates an airy, easily manageable and powerful growing medium with good drainage properties.
These discs are compressed for transport and expand to their original size after water is added.
40 mm Coco Disc is an organic and excellent substrate for cultivation. Quality Coco Disc will increase water retention, aeration and provides antifungal benefits when used alone or incorporated into the soil as an ingredient.
How are coco discs manufactured?
Generally, coco disc/plug or Coir pith has a very high salt content. Hence Coco Peat Disc is washed with clean and natural water to lower EC levels, which is very important for root and plant growth. Washed Coco Disc is heat-treated, screened, and graded before being processed into Coco Peat Disc products of various granularity and denseness.
