These Pearlescent Pigments are used for the developing of color through interference between light rays that reflects at specular angles from the top and bottom surfaces of the metal-oxide layer. Available in different colors and thickness these Pearlescent Pigments are widely used in various industries. Furthermore, if observed from non-specular angles, these Pearlescent Pigments lose their color intensity. Besides, a second color is transmitted through the pigment platelet, which is complementary to the reflected one.
