paraflat lap plate flatness gauges are very unique in the sense, unlike other gauges available in the market, where only 1 reading can be taken, paraflat have introduced a 2 point digital display measuring system.
the gauge measures and displays out of flatness at 2 points simultaneously.
the gauge at the edge shows the concavity or convexity of the lap plate
and the gauge at the center shows the track, toroid etc of the lap plate.
zero setting is very simple.
just keep the gauge on a surface plate and set zero on the digital gauge
and presto! just keep it on the lap plate and see the out of flatness.
these gauges are dedicated to the size of the lap plates.
