Para-Benzoquinone is an organic chemical compound commonly known as p-Quinone. It is bright-yellow to light brown color crystalline solid with strong pungent, irritating odor. PBQ is mainly used as a chemical intermediate for manufacturing an agrochemical, herbicide Ethofumesate & API Calcium dobesilate and also an intermediate in the production of a variety of substances, including rubber accelerators and oxidizing agents.
