How it works

Osimert 80 mg blocks the activity of the mutated epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) gene, which is commonly found in certain advanced NSCLC cases. This helps to stop cancer cells from growing and surviving. 

When it's used

Osimert 80 mg is used to treat patients with NSCLC that has progressed on or after EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) therapy. It can also be used to prevent the return of NSCLC after surgery, or as a first treatment for NSCLC that has spread to other parts of the body. 

How to take it

Your doctor will decide how often and how much you need to take Osimert 80 mg, and you should take it exactly as prescribed. You can take it with or without food, but try to take it at the same time every day. It may take several weeks or months to feel the benefits. 

Side effects
