Due to their color, lemons are classified into green and yellow and by size: small, medium and large.

The variety of yellow and large lemon with a thick and rough peel is the most consumed in Spain as it is a very aromatic variety with few seeds in its pulp, this is known as the Verna variety.

Other varieties in Spain are the Eureka variety, smaller in size and others such as the Fino and Lisbón varieties
