Mango (Aam) Plants

Mango a national fruit of India, which is a great in shape and taste. Mango is such type of fruit, which is eaten by people of worldwide. It is known as stone fruit; type of fruit plant and it belongs from flowering family of “Anacardiaceae”. Scientific name of mango plant is “Mangifera Indica” and known as “Aam” in Bengali. It is also a national fruit of Pakistan and Philippines.

Mango fruit is green in color so it is called green mango and yellow, orange or red colors in ripen condition. This plant is easy to growing and maintain; in India it produces mango in March-April months. It grows in warm climate and it needs regular watering mostly twice or trice in a week. In winter it does not need water or rain. For this plants well growth it needs well-drained soil and nitrogen fertilizer regularly in growing season. Mango tree loves full sunlight and but in start of Summer it needs shade for its well growth.
