Linear Slide Guide way Option - Oil Dip 
In oil type machine the magnetic slide on which the magnetic chuck is mounted moves on a V & flat guides which are permanently dipped in an oil tray. As for ball type machine the magnetic slide is guided by a set of roller guides using ball strips.
Usage of Oil Type Surface Grinder - Oil dip is better for Tool rooms while Ball type is better for production.
Surface Grinder's Models - Normal or Excello Type
Firstly the difference in excello type and normal machine is - the position of the wheel used to provide vertical feed to the machines. For small size machine the vertical feed wheel is on the top, but as the size of the machine increase the operator can’t reach the vertical feed wheel without moving so in excello type the position of the vertical feed wheel is down along with the other wheels. Moreover in excello type machines the length of vertical slide is more so a workpiece with maximum height of 13 inch can be grinded while in normal only 9 inch is possible.
