You can see sand dunes, monasteries, and a ruined old palace. The Shyok River and Nubra or Siachen River form a large valley to separate the Ladakh and Karakoram Ranges. You can enjoy a ride on the back of the Bactrian Camels while admiring the beauty of snow-covered mountain peaks.
The valley is covered with thick thorny shrubs. The huge village in the valley has thick plantations of poplar and willow. Several ancient Gompas and palaces which are famous traveler attractions surround the area. To the north of Nubra valley lies the very popular Siachen Glacier. You’ll enjoy the night stay on camps.
