NR Open Body Pinch Valve

In the open body pinch valve the valve actuator operates the stem and disc to perform an opening and closing of the valve. The open body is made of the carbon steel or stainless steel based upon the customer’s requirement.

In open body pinch valve the rubber liner is placed between two halves of the metal flange at the time of the assembly process and the two these two halves are connected with the top and bottom supports. The top support is threaded where the hand-wheel stem is fitted.

The open design offers light weight, easy operation and easy inspection of the pinch valve best suited for the non hazardous media only.

Operation of the open body pinch valve:

The desired operation can be achieved by turning the hand wheel clockwise to close the valve, whereas to the opening of the gate valve can be achieved by turning the hand wheel in the counter clockwise direction.
