Nonwoven Testing

The company is a reliable name known for providing Nonwoven Testing services as per INDIA/EDANA standards as well as other International / National standards. From the past six decades, we are involved in this service and have developed expertise in a wide range of textile specific areas covering the entire range of textile manufacturing from fiber to finance. Since 1987, the company is working in the area of nonwovens / technical textiles. In fact, in 1983-84, testing of nonwovens / coated materials were initiated at BTRA Test House. Moreover, a full-fledged pilot plant for nonwovens was set up in 1987 owing to the approval received from Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India. Our manpower is highly trained in product development & testing of different technical textile products and nonwovens. In 2002, BTRA labs were accredited as per ISO 17025 standards and reaffirmed in 2005.
Recognising the importance of antimicrobial finish and tests such as bio-burden tests, bacterial filtration efficiency tests, BTRA set up microbiology laboratory in 2003. All these tests are applicable for nonwovens as well. During the course of last two decades, BTRA has been helping Indian manufacturers to develop nonwoven products, overcome processing problems and manufacture to meet specifications in the area of nonwovens.
 
What differentiates ours nonwoven work is not only our good infrastructure for nonwoven product development, testing & training, but more importantly, our skilled and experienced workforce in the area of nonwovens. For product development, we have nonwovens pilot plants such as Needle Punching (DILO, Germany) / Cross Lapper (DILO, Germany) / Roller Clearer Cards (CORMATEX, Italy) / Hot Air Bonding Machine (Indigenous) / Mini Jet (Hydroentanglement by Fleissner).
