    Application Procedure

    • Clean joint area with stainless steel wire brush.
    • Butt joints, broken sections or cracks should be beveled to 60-80oC. Leave a 1.5 mm to 3.2mm gap and maintain alignment of parts.
    • Use slight excess acetylene flame.
    • Melt a drop of flux onto beginning of joint continue heating, until flux liquefies.
    • Deposit alloy, using a bead forming technique.
    • Care should be taken not to melt the base metal.
    • Remove flux residues in warm water.
