Netilmicin Injection, Medicine Type : Medicine Type Allopathic

Netilmicin Injection is a low concentration high activity bactericidal. The Netilmicin Injection is available in different strengths such as 10/25/50/100/200/300 mg. Netilmicin Injections are tried and tested for efficacy against infections of bones, skin structure, joints, etc.
In Overall Control of :

• Complicated UTI, Bactermia, Septicaemia (Including neonatal sepsis)
• Skin & Skin Structure infections
• Intra Abdominal infections (Including peritonitis & intra abdominal absess)
• Serious infections of the Respiratory tract
• Kidney & Genitourinary Tract infections
• Bone & Joint Infections
• Burns, Wounds, Pre operative infections
• GIT infections
• Endocarditis

 
Recommended Dosage :

• Adult (50-90 kg)
• 150 mg every 12 hr/100 mg every 8 hr/300 mg once daily
•  (4-6 mg / kg / day)

Premature / full Term Neonates :

• 1 Wk of age or less
• 6 mg / Kg / day in 2 divided doses daily
• Neonates over 1 wk of age & infants 7.5-9 mg / kg
• Daily in 3 divided doses
• Children – 6-7.5 mg / kg
• Daily in three divided doses
