1. Methi 
Botanical Name : Trigonella foenum-graecum; English Name : Fenugreek
Methi seeds are rich in proteins with essential amino acids, iron, ascorbate and folate content. They have restorative and nutritive properties. Methi has stimulating, appetizing and orexigenic properties. It has good beneficial effects to raise blood hemoglobin. Clinical studies confirm that daily consumption of Methi seeds, for three consecutive months showed a significant rise in the levels of blood hemoglobin.
2. Sunth
Botanical Name : Zingiber officinale; English Name : Ginger
Sunth has traditionally been used for treatment of so many ailments in alternative medicines of many countries. Sunth contains a compound called Gingerol which is effective in treating anemia.
