Nelaton catheters are used for short term bladder catheterization.
This catheter can be used in a routine medical procedure that facilitates direct drainage of the urinary bladder. Catheters may be inserted as an in-and-out procedure for immediate drainage, left in with a self-retaining device for short-term drainage (eg, during surgery), or left indwelling for long-term drainage for patients with chronic urinary retention.
Manufactured from non-toxic, non-irritant medical grade PVC compatible with catheter lubricants.
The urethral catheter has a smooth, rounded and closed thermoformed tip.
Frozen surface tubing for super smooth intubation.
Distal end is coned for non traumatic introduction with two lateral eyes for efficient drainage.
Proximal end is fitted with universal funnel shaped connector for extension.
Non-opposing lateral eyes improve flow efficiency and reduce risk of blockage.
Funnel shape connectors are color coded for instant identification of sizes.
This product is disposable after single-use only.
Available in Male and Female versions.
