At Mayur Plywood, the high standards of quality and innovation we adhere to are made possible by our dedicated Research and Development (R&D) efforts.
Our plants are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and testing facilities. Our products are manufactured under controlled conditions following the well organized Quality Management System. We have been certified ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and BIS compliant.
All our products undergo a wood termiticide treatment - the MPPT:
All timber logs, after cutting, are cooked for 12 hours at a temperature of 60-70 C to remove excess starch, resin and micro-organisms.
The core, once peeled, is soaked in a biodegradable environment-friendly in-house organic formulation to give the plywood added protection from termites and borers.
Planks used as frames and fillers of boards and doors are treated with CCB Solution.
With our Cross Core Protection Technology each glue line is fortified with chemicals against termites and borers.
Finally all our ready panels are treated with preservative chemicals to increase strength and resistance against any deteriorating
A Graveyard Test is also administered on random samples. The plywood sample is buried underground in moist conditions ideal for borers and termites to flourish. After many months, the sample is dug out and evaluated. Even in this test, our plywood has been found to survive termites and borers, and even resist these from growing into it. Thus this Graveyard Test successfully proves all our products to be termite and borer resistant.
Made of eco-friendly, sustainable raw materials, and with E1 grade resin for minimal impact on the environment, our products are Green Products - just right for Green Building Projects.
Moreover, our processes are energy efficient, with an in-house water treatment plant, and measures that ensure the health and safety of our manpower. Each batch of products that bears the Mayur name is checked as per BIS norms and European Standards before being released in the market.
Our R & D ensures constant improvement of our existing products and introduction of new ones, for just one purpose: to offer better, offer more to our customers. This has been the path we have chosen since inception, and rest assured, we shall not veer from this path even in the future.
