MYCRON- 6055 is predominantly an acrylic polymer suitable for Cementous composition. It increases physical strength and chemical resistance properties. It improves adhesion of cement to various substrates like brick, wood, masonry, etc. Mycron 6048 is compatible with Polymer dispersions, with most other non-ionic and anionic dispersions, Thickeners, Plasticizes, Defoamers, Pigments & Fillers and hydraulic Binders, it is advisable to add small amounts of a suitable preservative to products containing Mycron 6048 in order to ensure adequate shelf-life.

Application

Mycron 6048 is used to modify hydraulic binders especially cement admixtures. It has excellent mechanical strength for concrete repair motor sand floor screed applications. This dispersion Mycron 6048 can also be recommended for waterproofing screed applications. Trials are recommended to be performed for each specific application since the performance of Mycron 6048 depends on the type of hydraulic binder involved. The compatibility of Mycron 6048 depends on ingredients of the formulation, process of mixing and its adhesion on various substrates. The product may be affected by temperatures above 50*C also.
