Technical specifications
plain galvanic: it if for the stimulation of denervated muscle ion transfer. Maximum output 75 ma.
Interrupted galvanic current: this is used for diagnosis and the extent of muscle lesion. It is used for diagnosis of muscle activities by plotting s-d curve of the defective muscle. S-d curve can be plotted on a semilog graph sheet. Pulse width variations are in 10 steps from .01 to 300ms.
Faradic current: pulses generated are of short duration (0.6 ms) at the rate of 80 pulsessecond. Tetanic muscles contraction and muscle fatigue is achieved in short duration since the rate is 80 pps.
Surged faradic current: faradic pulses are surged. Peak tetanizing is reached from 2 seconds to 4 second. Rest period is adjustable from 2 to 5 second. Action corresponds similar to voluntary contraction.
