Multi Grade Sand Filters

Multi grade Sand Filters use different grades of similar media in fixed ratio. The use of similar media in different grades creates a bed with pores of different sizes. This helps in entrapment of the suspended particles in the media. This filters can be operated at higher specific surface flow rates.
