Motorised Crockmeter

My Q Colour fastness to rubbing is the most basic ofcolour fastness tests,Crockmeter is used to determine colourfastness to wet and dry rubbing. Specimens are rubbed with dry, standard cotton cloth (Crocking cloth) and again, if applicable, with wet cloth. The staining of the crocking cloth is assessed with an AATCC or SDC Grey Scale.

Equipment

Digital motorized crock meter is used for determination of color fastness of dyed& printed textile to dry & wet rubbing. This equipment consist of a counter ,a flat peg. This equipment is designed with 16mm diameter finger & length of traverse 100(±5)mm. The display comes digitally on the panel. The test specimen is held firmlyover standard abrasive paper (Emery paper) with the help of specimen holder. The equipment is built on a mild steel base to give the stability and rigidity.
