Mining Drill Rigs

Sandvik articulated in-the-hole (ITH) production drill rigs offer high mobility on a heavy-duty platform. These mining drill rigs are uniquely designed to produce long and straight holes at depths greater than 100 meters (328 feet). Our ITH drill rigs are flexible, rubber-tired machines ideally suited for many mining methods.

Sandvik articulated ITH drill rigs are capable of drilling production holes over a diameter range of 89 to 165 millimeters (3 1/2–6 1/2 inches), and with optional equipment, even up to 445 millimeters (17 1/2 inches). The options available include reverse circulation and Wassara® water hammer packages.
