Our Mild Steel Black Pipes are not used for potable water or drain waste or vent lines. When Steel Pipe is forged, a black oxide scale forms on its surface to give it the finish. Because Steel is subject to rust & corrosion, the factory coats Mild Steel Black Pipes with protective oil or black paint. Once the pipe is coated with paint, it will not rust for a long time & requires very less maintenance. It is sold in standard 21 feet length only. Features
