Contact SupplierClamps number 1,2 and 3 are provided with grooved jaws, which allow for a secure, no slip hold with clamp applying forceps in all planes of movement. Exerting pressure on the applying forceps opens the clamp. By lessening the pressure on the forceps, the clamp closes.
Clamp applying forceps are available with or without lock. The lock is engaged by exerting light pressure on the forceps, which holds the clamp in half-open position. The clamp can thus be prepared in advance and handed to the surgeon when needed. Once the clamp is properly positioned relative to the blood vessel, the lock is released by pressing the locking arm lightly with the index finger.
