Mettalurgical Coke

Metallurgical coke, also known as Met coke, is a carbon material manufactured by the destructive distillation of various blends of bituminous coal. Metallurgical coke is used where a high quality, tough, resilient, wearing carbon is required. Applications include but are not limited to conductive flooring, foundry coatings, foundry carbon raiser, corrosion materials, heat treatment, ceramic packing media, and electrolytic processes. Primary purpose is for fuel in Blast Furnaces. The smaller size is what is known as Coke Breeze.
Coke Breeze or Met Coke fines have the bulk application in cement manufacturing, sintering process & in zinc manufacturing. Along with the above application it required by many small industries.
