Methi tablet is manufactured from pure methi (fenugreek) powder. Dose of methi in one tablet is 750 mg. It is very difficult to formulate methi powder in tablet dosage form and we succeed. Methi in powder form is very bitter in taste and inconvenient also. Tablet formulation is convenient.

the seeds and leaves of methi (fenugreek) are readily available and widely used in indian kitchen. They have a strong aroma and a bitter taste. Methi is a rich reservoir of medicinal properties. Methi contains protein, fibre, vitamin c, niacin, potassium, iron and alkaloids. It also contains a compound diosgenin which has oestrogen-like properties, as well as steroidal saponins. Fenugreek has been reported to have gastroprotective effect, antimicrobial activities, anticancer effect, used in treatment of arthritis, reducing weight, increasing milk production and may regulate hyperthyroidism.
Human and animal trials suggest possible hypoglycemic and antihyperlipidemic properties of oral fenugreek seed powder. Mucilaginous fiber present in fenugreek seeds may bind bile acids to reduce cholesterol and fat absorption.
