Marshall Stability Test Apparatus is utilized for designing and evaluating bituminous paving mixes. The test is carried out as a routine test program for paving jobs. The test is applicable to hot mix designs that use bitumen and aggregates up to a maximum size of 25mm. Our Marshall Stability Test Apparatus consists of a motorized loading unit with two telescopic pillars and an adjustable cross head. Limit switches are also installed inside in order to control the upward or downward movement of the pillars. The two majors features of Marshall Stability Test Apparatus are density voids analysis and stability. The marshal stability of a particular mix is defined as a maximum load carried by a compacted specimen at a standard test temperature of 60oC.
