We offer excellent quality Menthol Powder that has an appearance of colorless crystals/flakes with a sharp peppermint odor. Menthol Powder that we offer has peppermint, and has a cooling taste. With melting point of 36 oC-400oC, specific gravity at 350oC-0.890-0.910, refractive index at 300oC-1.450-1.465 and optical rotation at 350oC-360oC to -480oC (10% alc. solution). Menthol Powder has slight solubility in water, alcohol, ether, chloroform and is also freely soluble in liquid petrolatum and glacial acetic acid. Menthol Powder is widely used in perfumery, liqueurs, confectionery, cough drops, pharmaceutical preparations, nasal inhalers and other areas. Other Application Areas
