Melacare Cream is a medicine that is used for the treatment of Age spots, Lightens light brown color patches on skin, Skin discolorations associated with pregnancy, Skin trauma, Birth control pills, Hormone replacement therapy during menopause and other conditions. Melacare cream for scar removal and hyperpigmentation. Melacare Cream contains Hydroquinone Topical(2% w/w), Mometasone Topical(0.1% w/w) and Tretinoin Topical(0.025% w/w) as active ingredients.

Hydroquinone is considered the primary topical ingredient for inhibiting melanin production. Its components have potent antioxidant abilities. Tretinoin is the acid form of vitamin A and is also known as all-trans retinoic acid or ATRA. It is a first generation topical retinoid commonly used to treat acne vulgaris. Mometasone furoate is used in the treatment of inflammatory skin disorders (such as eczema and psoriasis), allergic rhinitis (such as hay fever), asthma for patients unresponsive to less potent corticosteroids.
