be it fractures, ruptures, capsular injuries, bruises or pulled muscles – the classical treatment for typical sports injuries is rest. But rest no longer means immobility – on the contrary: thanks to kobra cast the patient can remain active based on dosed, functionally adjusted levels of mobility and even take part in training sessions during the rehabilitation phase! our thermoplastic polyester bandage offers innovative orthopaedic solutions for sports medicine and has proven to be surprisingly flexible. Compared with the plaster cast used in the past, kobra cast scores points due to its light weight, wear comfort, skin-friendliness and its easy, clean and cost-effective application.
how it works
activate bandage in warm water: 5 min. At 70°c or 3 min. At 95°c
protect affected area with cushioning material
remove warmed bandage, squeeze out water, wrap loosely around affected area without applying tension
mould bandage to affected area to achieve ideal layer bonding cast hardens after approx. 5 min. And withstands pressure after approx.15 min
