The SITRANS AS 100 acoust ic sensor detects high frequency acoustic emissions from friction or the impact of dust, powders,granules and other solids in motion. It signals flowno flow or highlow flow. It features compact stainless steel construction for harsh environments and non-invasive mounting. The SITRANS AS 100 can be connected to a SITRANS CU 02, which processes signals from the sensor, providing relay and analog outputs for connection into a process, or it can be connected directly to a PLC analog input.
