Masoor Pulses

Masoor also known as red lentil, masoor, is a brown skinned lentil that is orange on the inside. Masoor dal has a pleasant earthy flavour and has a pretty reddish-orange colour when dried but they turn yellow when cooked and is very common in Northern India. It is commonly used to make dal, soups and stews. The Masoor Dal popularly known as the Masoor Dal cooks relatively fast and is easily edible.
