The Manual Call Point (MCP) is a surface mounting call point with a plastic coated glass element to ensure reliable, safe operation. Note that for Red colored devices, it is necessary to order both the MCP and the Wall Box. The call point is operated by snapping the glass element by pressing on its centre – a hammer, or other impact device, is not required. The snapped glass element releases the MCP’s micro switch, which signals an alarm to the fire panel.
