We are providing mango pectin project. Mangos contain 7% - 24% peel. Mango peels therefore are an important by-product from mango pulp industry. At present they are not only unutilized but are also considered as nuisance and a source of pollution. It costs to get rid of it. Ironically,it is potentially a very important raw material. It is a good source of anti-oxidants, polyphenols, anthocyanin and carotenoids. It can be used in nutraceutical and functional foods. In other words manfo peel is a good source of phenolic compounds and high quality pectin.
