Above pump is most commoly used for irrigation purpose in malawi and other african countries. It is human powered pump designed for small scale irrigation. It lifts water from shallow wells & surface sources like ponds, rivers etc. It can be operated by either one person or two persons. main features of pump

• high capacity 5000 liters hour from depth of 5 meters and is capable of delivering discharge upto 3 metes height and 20meter horizonatal distance.

• can easily be assembled & dismantled. Hot dip galvanized at our in - house hot dip galvanizing plant as per bs : 729 standards. All fasteners are electroplated.
• double cylinder pump so both downward and upward stroke delivers water hence optimum utilization of human energy spent is achieved.
• the pump comprises of two cylinders, wooden base board inlet pipe with treadle support, piston fod, handle, ci pulley, piston seals, piston discs, intermediate washer, rubber gasket for base board, polypropylene rope, flap valve, valve holding plate bolted in valve box and electroplated fasteners as required.
