Maize Starch or corn starch is obtained from the endosperm of corn kernels. Maize Starch available with us is used mainly as a thickener for soups and is also used in making corn syrup. They are made from the finest corn kernels and when mixed with a liquid at a lower temperature, Maize Starch helps instantly thicken it into a translucent paste. Apart from this, they are also used as anti-caking agents and to manufacture bioplastics.
