Lutenitsa is a vegetarian spread made from roasted tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, and other typical Balkan ingredients. It is a typical Bulgarian and Macedonian appetizer and has a unique flavor ( it can be slightly spicy or not) with a rich taste. Lutenitsa can be consumed as a relish or spread on bread and crackers or as a side dish for grilled meat, potatoes, or pasta. Our lutentisa is traditional, but at the same time different.
